STEVE COE

AIA, LEED BD+C, PRESIDENT

Steve Coe has over 29 years of experience working in Charleston on a wide variety of projects of varying sizes and complexities. As the Principal-in-Charge, and lead design Architect, Steve is directly involved in every facet of the office environment. He directs and leads all projects undertaken by the firm, and uses his knowledge of Charleston building codes, agencies, construction systems, transportation issues, and architectural design to the owner’s benefit. Steve has experience working with state agencies including many educational and higher education projects. His background allows him to anticipate project trajectories, coordination and project scheduling both in the Rosenblum Coe office and between project consultants.

JOSH CAPLEA

AIA, LEED AP, VICE PRESIDENT

Josh joined the RCA team in April 2014, and became an associate with the firm in 2017. He brings a wide range of design experience, including project work with K-12 and Higher Education, Municipal, Healthcare and Commercial design. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with extensive building sustainability experience.

As a Project Architect and Project Manager, Josh  is involved in design through documentation and construction. He helps guide planning, programming and design charrettes to engage consultants and stakeholders in the analysis of needs and practical solutions

JERRY BALLINGER

AIA, LEED AP

Rosenblum Coe Architects welcomed Jerry Ballinger, AIA to the RCA team in Fall 2019. Mr. Ballinger is a registered architect with more than 35 years experience on a variety of project types including commercial, civic, higher education, K-12, medical office and multi-family residential projects.   He brings experience managing complex projects types such as performing arts center, veterinarian hospital and medical office buildings, a strong knowledge of code issues, and solid design sensibility, with experience on award winning projects.

RYAN LEWIS

 AIA

Ryan Lewis joined the RCA team in July 2016 with 5 years of work experience in commercial, hospitality, and multifamily housing projects. Ryan provides Architectural support and is involved during the Construction Document phase, Design Development Phase and Contract Administration Phase. During his time at RCA he has worked on numerous projects and project types. He recently received his Architectural licensure and is now licensed in South Carolina.

MARKETING & ADMIN COODINATOR

Born and raised in South Central Pennsylvania, Katie relocated to the Lowcountry in 2017 and soon after joined the RCA team. After graduating with a degree in Journalism from a small state school in Pennsylvania, she went on to work as a freelance graphic designer for non-profits and small businesses. With a passion for the arts, Katie brings a multifarious skillset comprised of communications, graphic design, art and marketing experience. As the marketing and administrative coordinator, she handles all marketing materials, technical proposals and advancing the PR activities of the firm. Outside of the office, Katie is an enthusiast of long distance running, hands-on artistic projects, traveling abroad, and spending time with her husband and dog Charlie.   

KATIE HARBAUGH

CHRISTINE INABINETT

INTERIOR DESIGNER & SPACE PLANNER

A Charleston native, Christine had dreams of working in the design field from a young age. After graduating with a degree in Interior Design from Winthrop College, she went on to amass 12 years of professional experience in interior design and space planning by working as an interior designer for various commercial, residential and state projects. Christine joined the RCA team at the start of the 2022 year and will  assist on projects on interior design, space planning, and architectural support. When she's not bringing design visions to life, Christine spends her time involved in the local tennis community and spending free time with her husband, adult children, and two black labs.
