A two-story, 5-bay, 19,000 sf building located at 2800 Carner Avenue, North Charleston, SC.  The first floor includes offices, a community / training room, excersise room & support spaces.  The second floor includes areas for the day room, kitchen, dining room, & 12 bunk rooms.  The station features both a sliding pole & fireman's slide to aid in the crew's ability to quickly & efficiently move from the second to first floors.  Key design features include: hurricane / impact resistant, 100% 'e' power and designed as community center for adjacent park.  The fire station opened in January 2016.
