Jeffrey Rosenblum, through 40 years of architectural practice and 37 years as principal of his own firm, has established himself as a competent and talented architect in all phases of his profession. This experience has given him the necessary background to schedule projects so that they will be completed on time and within the budget constraints.

He has received a lifetime Fellowship distinction from the American Institute of Architects, 4 AIA Design Awards, 2 AIA Service Awards, features in national architectural publications, and a history of well-designed and well-built projects. His professional obligations include a past position on the City of Charleston’s historic Board of Architectural Review, being a past member of the S.C. Procurement Review Panel, past Member of the Clemson University School of Architecture’s Advisory Board, and past President of the South Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Mr. Rosenblum coordinates all the projects’ consultants, manages the other staff architects’ involvement in the project, is actively involved in all aspects of the architectural work, and is responsible for project quality control. Mr. Rosenblum has worked on over 500 projects while in private practice.

Steve Coe, AIA, LEED AP:

Steve Coe is directly involved in every facet of the office environment. He directs and leads all projects undertaken by the firm, and uses his knowledge of Charleston building codes, agencies, construction systems, transportation issues, and architectural design to the owner’s benefit. Mr. Coe has experience working with state agencies including many educational and higher education projects. Mr. Coe’s background allows his anticipation of project trajectories, coordination and project scheduling both in the Rosenblum Coe office and between project consultants.

Mr. Coe’s teamwork ensures successful and timely completion of construction projects, further exemplified by his recent award from Charleston Home + Design Magazine as one of “Charleston’s Most Influential Design Professionals,” as well as his awards for 2006 and 2004 “Architect of the Year” from the Charleston Contractor’s Association. Mr. Coe was 2009-2010 President of AIA- South Carolina and a past President of the Charleston Chapter Construction Specifications Institute. His vision and grasp of new technology continues to move the firm forward.

Ken Harkins, AIA, LEED AP

Rosenblum Coe Architects welcomed Ken to the RCA team in November 2010. He brings 27 years of experience in institutional architecture and renovations in South Carolina, and has a reputation as a knowledgeable and helpful project architect. Ken has worked on document production and quality assurance reviews on institutional projects. Ken is joining Rosenblum Coe Architects as a Senior Architect, and will be integral player in future institutional projects.
