This 8,000 square foot fire station for the Town of Mount Pleasant replaces an outdated, undersized facility. The new station includes an Apparatus Bay large enough to house three Fire Engines and an EMS truck and allows for the possibility for a fourth fire truck if needed during emergencies. The station includes bunk space for 14 men and Battalion Chiefs, lockers for each occupant and gang toilet facilities. The station is designed to fit into the residential area in which it is built, yet still remain a “civic” building.
